my novel into film professor told us that he wants our papers to be interesting to read, and funny. he doesn’t want something that’ll bore him, and i feel like mine is semi-decent so far, but it feels too…fluffy to be an actual paper that i’m handing in for a grade, if that makes sense? i mean, i just wrote this:
Acting as his on-again, off-again lady friend from high school, there’s no better time for Becky and Miles to explore their relationship once more than during an alien invasion.
and i’m afraid he’ll think i’m a loser who’s not taking his assignment seriously and writing “lady friend” instead of “girlfriend” or “love interest” or whatever. meh, i guess i’ll see how it goes and maybe edit it down a little bit later on.
